I was busy doing a high five with Chrys.
This was the best news I have heard for the past one month after wearily juggling two portfolios. My other colleague who has been seconded to a special project for a year and who will soon be coming back from maternity leave will be taking over the portfolio I am covering. Finally, I can concentrate on my core portfolio which I have cast aside for a while due to the backlogs accumulated for the covering portfolio. I can once again enjoy a better work-life balance.
All I need to do is to endure another 3 weeks as she will be back by end July.
Hurray! My heart nearly burst with a sense of relief upon hearing the news.
