The yearly Great Singapore Sale has commenced again. When I went home shortly after 6 pm, a rush of people were walking in the opposite direction of me. The train was freakingly empty.
Everyone has flocked to town to grab the best bargains at the earliest possible time. Some departmental stores have started their mid-year sales even about a week before GSS in an attempt to attract more shopping dollars.
Get ready your wallet for more action in the next 2 months as the sales in all boutiques and stores gained strength.
