Newton Circus Hawker Centre has been upgraded for some time and I have not been there since it underwent renovation. We popped by yesterday again on the spur of the moment. Frankly speaking, we have started to run out of ideas on where to eat.
We were quite disappointed as stalls after stalls were selling barbecued seafood. This was pretty unrepresentative of local fare. In the end, I have decided to try on sliced fish bee hoon which again turned up to be a disappointed for a well-known hawker centre.
Although the food was less than "exciting", we did chance upon a rather pretty actress "da paoing" her food at the hawker centre. ;-p
