It was really relaxing to sit down at the lounge, sipping my chamomile tea and listening to melodious singing with soothing accompaniment of the piano and violin. The high ceiling enhanced the acoustics of the live performance. Having feeling slightly lethargic, I nearly dozed off in the comfortable seat with “Over the Rainbow” and “Beauty and the Beast” in the background.
The more spacious and open environment provided a totally different ambience and feel to the lounge at Conrad International which also offers live singing in the evening.
I was referring to the Atrium Lounge at Marina Mandarin.
If you would like to give the place a try, you may want to go there a little earlier as the tables are filled up by around 9 pm.
