We went to Fishermen's Village (off Elias Road) for dinner last evening for the first time. I have not been to Pasir Ris for a long time, much less to Pasir Ris Park. It was very different from what I have remembered it to be.
Pasir Ris Park used to a favourite haunt when I was young, ie primary school days. On weekends, it was usually crowded with kids of similar ages. Last evening was exceptionally quiet. There was hardly anyone at the park. Personally, I felt that the place was too quiet and abit dark. It was indeed quite a dangerous place to be at night if you are alone.
We did not stay for long after the dinner. Personally, I really felt that the place was too remote and quiet for my comfort.
