I am a big fan of Peranakan cuisine with its sweet, sour and spicy taste. Pow Sing Restaurant is one which offers fairly reasonably priced dishes at Serangoon Gardens. When the restaurant opens a stall in Food Republic, I always order its grilled set as it is a set without my having to think of what to eat.
