Work has gone back to the more manageable time-table and routine since the completion of the budget and all quarterly activities. I was able to have more time to plan for the new year's template and to look at the more important but critical things. Yet, we know that life is never predictable and when it gets too comfortble, there will be new challenges that will be dished out.
My boss suddenly wanted me to take over 2 major projects of another colleague as he was having difficulty coping. Alas, there went my hope of enjoying some peace and quiet. In addition, these 2 projects had very short turnaround time, so I had to meet up with the leader of one of the projects on Saturday afternoon to go through the knowledge transfer.
Sigh!
