Repulse Bay was one of the most famous beaches in Hong Kong island. The calm sea with a long stretch of white sand was a popular spot among the locals in summer for water sports and swimming. The nearby hills were the residences of the very rich and famous millionaires, including Jackie Chan and Macau Casino owner.
At one end of the beach is a temple for devotees to pray for peace and health. The view from the temple was also spectacular as it overlooked the sea and the outlying islands.
Walking along Repulse Bay was relaxing and refreshing with the cool breeze and the white sand.
