Forgetfulness

I proudly told my colleague that our medical check-up would be in two days' time.

She looked at me blankly and asked was it not tomorrow.

Then, we frantically searched through our emails for the confirmation of the registration. We found none. No choice, I immediately called the helpline to ask if they could confirm which was the date I had registered for the check-up.

My colleague was right. It was supposed to be tomorrow.

I am really getting more and more forgetful. Luckily, I have asked my colleague before it or I would have missed the appointment.

Looks like my brain power is deteriorating faster than I thought.
