I was told that I would to handle the total corporate product revenue consolidation permanently as an addition to my portfolio as the current colleague handling this will be asked to do another project. Is this good or bad news? I do not know at this juncture. On one hand, I am excited as this is a more important role than my current portfolio of supporting a few departments and products. On the other hand, this change will involve longer working hours permanently as consolidation means that I will always need to wait for everyone to finish their pieces before I can roll-up, do final review and submit to my bosses and management.
I see this as grey news because it is neither good or bad or rather it can either be good or bad news.
