It is another colleague's farewell lunch. We are not from the same department but I talk to him more than my colleagues sometimes as I support his department for all financial matters and he is the business analyst of his department.
No matter how many conflicts you have with the colleague when you are working, you will certainly miss working with him or her when he or she is about to leave. This is because we have already gotten used to each other's working style. Moreover, our relationship has extended from colleagues to friends as you know more and more about the person. Strangely, it is often during the farewell lunch that we are most relaxed and more open with each other.
