Sunrise and sunset

I was having a discussion with my boss when her phone rang. The wallpaper on her phone was that of either a sunrise or a sunset.

I asked her if she knew how to tell the difference between sunrise and sunset. She replied in the negative. Then she shared a joke of how someone had used the picture of a sunrise for a presentation. However, the audience actually interpreted it as sunset. This contradicted the underlying message that the presenter was conveying.

The moral of the story is that we should avoid using pictures of sunrise or sunset in our presentation. Imagine if you want to paint a hopeful picture of sunrise and your audience actually interprets it as a bleak outlook associated with sunset.
