Limits Exist Only in the Mind

This was a tagline that splashed across the papers today.

Indeed, we often associate limits with environmental constraints, physical and mental capabilities and sometimes luck. When we fail to achieve, we excuse ourselves by finding hundred and one reasons. Sometimes, the possibility of failure based on preliminary assessment has even deterred us from even making a valiant attempt.

We have always heard about miracles happening to ordinary people who have fought against all odds to achieve stretched goals. They were stories of will and mind power which motivated them to overcome all constraints and challenges. For them, the fruits of success were especially sweet.

A race fraught with hurdles can be so daunting. Some may give up before the start or in the midst of the race. However, for those who have preserved and completed the race, not only do they derive tremendous satisfaction from their achievements, they have inadvertently become stronger.

Maybe when you look back at some of your accomplishments, you might have discovered that you too have some of these miracles to share. If you do not have these stories to tell, hesitate no more and take up a challenge where it may seem mission impossible. Before you know it, you would have completed the task.
