It was a small gesture which helped to alleviate Monday blues. To show appreciation for our support, my business line decided to invite the corporate support of their products to a free dinner cum movie session at The Cathay.
I took a ride from CY to The Cathay. The buffet spread was not fantastically wide like a hotel's spread but it was certainly sumptuous. After the dinner, we were invited to Transformers movie and each of us had a packet containing a bottle of coke and a packet of popcorn, though I was so entranced by the movie that I did not have time to eat and drink during the movie.
It provided me an excuse to knock off on time on a Monday evening and had an enjoyable evening. Such appreciative gestures do warm hearts.
