I have lost count of how many weekends I have worked this year from budget as I was covering another colleague which meant a pretty steep learning curve to understand the business and immediately apply for budget analysis.
Again, I worked from 9 am to 5 pm on a Saturday, sacrificing my weekly yoga class and being late for an appointment with a friend.
It was not so easy to immediately transit from work to leisure. My friend could tell that I was still pretty stressed and uptight. I hope I had not spoilt the evening for my friend being such a spoilsport.
