We are not only advancing with state-of-the-art mobile phones, the ringtones that Singaporeans are adopting are increasingly innovative.
I have heard ringtones which
- mimicked the MRT door closing's warning "Doo - doo - doo - doo, train doors are closing"
- cute singing of the Pig's song by La4 Bi3 Xiao3 Xing1 (cartoon character)
- garang guni's calls "Garang guni, bo zuah gu sa koh" (Hokkien)
Whenever I hear these, I often have to overcome the urge to giggle out loud. I wonder if there will be more and more bizarre ringtones?
