Only with passion do we live. Sometimes, to discover our passions, we need to take some risk and embarked on an adventure. Such expeditions may not be far-flung or expensive, it can start small by merely breaking out of our usual routine. Yet, we often hold back, thinking that such adventures are too preposterous. We impose commitments on ourselves and crush our dreams under the adults' definition of responsibility and success.
For instance, a lady was given a tiara for her birthday many months ago. On her thirty-eight birthday, she decided to be outrageous. She wore the tiara everywhere. It brightened her day and made it a special birthday. She acknowledged that she had tiptoed and tempted to turn back. Yet, she held on. Later, she found that she had one of the most memorable birthdays.
Despite such a small action seemingly ridiculous, she had persevered and refusing to let her husband coerced her to taking the tiara down. For that day that she had temporarily discarded all protocols, she was able to live the life of a queen as if the tiny tiara had transported her.
It is time to step out of the comfort zone and start exploring.
