Promotion Treat at Carousel

The team is certainly a great fan of the Carousel at Royal Plaza on Scotts. Hence, when a voting is carried out on the places that we can go for treats for those who have promoted this year, Carousel wins hands-down.

This time round, I try to take pictures of the spread using my new phone. Don’t salivate too much over the wide spread. *Wink*

Here’s just a sliver of the total spread.

Cold Cut section

Dessert Section – My favourite is the raspberry cheesecake.

Chocoloate Fondue

Those which are not featured include
- the sashimi and sushi section (complete with yellowfin, tuna and salmon as well as sushi and soba)
- the Chinese cooked food section (include Chinese stirfry),
- a local food section (which includes chicken rice and rice balls, laksa, dim sums, Indian cuisines), - soups (be it the western cream of broccoli or the eastern braised crab and mushroom soup),
- pasta (freshly cooked),
- roast meats (include rosemary chicken and lamb)
- bread and cheese section
- fruits and ice-cream section

Despite having been here numerous times, we seem never sick or run out of things to eat. Each visit brings forth new discovery of favourite foods. Yet, we cannot afford to eat so much buffet. Imagine the calories and cholesterol that we are piling on. Oh dear… …
